Our Game Guide has several great features that you might have missed. You’ll want to log in to the World of Warcraft website to make the most of these features, which you can do by clicking on the green ‘Log in now’ box in the top right-hand corner of this page. Once you’ve logged in, select your character by clicking on it or by selecting ‘Profile’ after clicking on your character’s name.
From your profile, there are a number of interesting things to select. On the left-hand side of the screen, try:
Companions & Mounts
This section lists all the in-game mounts and companions, split by those you’ve collected and those you haven’t found yet -- it’s a great way to see all of the cool mounts and companions in the game. If you’re interested in a particular companion or mount you can click on them to see their location and cost so that you can acquire them in-game.
The activity feed lists your character’s most recent accomplishments: be it a challenging achievement or a new piece of loot. You can copy and paste the URL at the top of your web browser into an RSS or web reader if you’d like to track what your character’s been up to. Many smart phones can also subscribe to these feeds.
From the professions menu you can see the recipes you’ve learned and the ones that you still need to collect. Maybe there’s something you’re missing that you could really use.
After you’ve explored your profile, be sure to explore the other sections of the Game Guide:
Dungeons & Raids In the ‘Dungeons & Raids’ section you can check out some of the dungeons you’re still working on or are planning to explore. Have a look at the loot list at the bottom of each dungeon’s page, and try filtering it by selecting your class in the dropdown menu. You’ll then have a list of all the loot in that dungeon you might want.
Factions Browse through World of Warcraft’s numerous factions and the rewards you can get for raising your reputation with them.
