Regarding the Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic
The FINAL FANTASY XI development and operations teams offer their deepest sympathies and wish the speedy recovery of those who have been affected by the worldwide spread of COVID-19 (also known as "novel coronavirus").
As you may know, the development and operations teams have taken measures to minimize the impact to our services by working remotely. Despite this, there have been some inevitable disruptions, such as certain customer support features being suspended in North America and Europe.
Depending on the situation and regulations enacted within each city or country, we may experience limits imposed on development and operations, schedule delays, or further disruption to customer support. We will be taking precautions in the best interest of the safety of our staff and local communities while minimizing the effects on our services as much as possible. We will share further updates via the Lodestone news as the situation evolves.
