Day of the Shadow Lord
During the event, players will occasionally receive the Shadow Lord's storied great sword, Lament, his sword Nihility, and his sword Extinction as spoils for completing the Shadow Lord Battle battlefield.

At last, adventurers, the moment you've been waiting for is finally here! The FINAL FANTASY XI Gifts from Vana'diel: Prime Memories Soundtrack goes on sale today via digital download!
This digital soundtrack includes the latest songs from FINAL FANTASY XI, including "Goddesspeed" by Nanaa Mihgo's, the title screen theme song "We Are Vana'diel," the song played during the final boss battle in The Voracious Resurgence, and more epic music from the game.
Additionally, the FINAL FANTASY GRANDMASTERS digital soundtrack is also available from today.
