Valentione’s Day Screenshot Contest!
Love is beginning to fill the air in Vana'diel with the arrival of Valentione's Day. To add to the festivities the Community Team is going to hold a contest to get adventurers into the celebratory spirit! All you need to do is log in to FINAL FANTASY XI and take your best Valentione's Day-related screenshot.
The Community Team will be selecting ten screenshots and awarding those lucky players with an in-game Love Chocolate signed by whichever member of the Community Team you want. Ever wanted to show off your love for Camate with a heart chocolate in your bazaar? Wanted to brag that Rukkirii herself baked you a sweet morsel of affection? Don't get us started on Bayohne!
How creative you get is up to you, so let your imagination run wild! Fire up those Soultrappers, grab a stack of soul plates, and snap some shots! (Note: Soultrappers are not actually what you need to use to take screenshots.)

With the advent of this new update, level 99 adventurers can now test their mettle in the dark recesses of the Nyzul Isle Uncharted Regions!
Not only that, but those who venture back into the Walk of Echoes and Voidwatch jurisdictions will notice a host of changes abrew. New Magian trials to upgrade your treasured Relic, Mythic, and Empyrean weapons to level 99 are also available to undertake.

We're pleased to announce that the next FINAL FANTASY XI version update is on track for a Tuesday, February 14th release!
It won't be long before you can delve deep into the Nyzul Isle Uncharted Regions—an expansion of the existing Assault mission offering challenges and rewards befitting level 99 characters—and undertake new Magian trials to upgrade your treasured Relic, Mythic, and Empyrean weapons to new heights of power. Adjustments for dragoons, corsairs, and other jobs, revisions to Voidwatch and the Walk of Echoes, and a host of other content previewed on the test server will also see its long-awaited official release.
Additional details will be posted to the Updates section of the official forums as they become available, so stay tuned!

Direct Credit Card Payments Now Accepted!
After receiving plenty of helpful feedback from our customers, we have worked these past few months to implement new payment options for billing. First we introduced additional payment methods for purchasing Crysta, then user-specified amounts of Crysta, and now we're pleased to announce that customers can directly enter credit and debit card information to handle subscription payments. To access the new payment options, simply log into the Square Enix Account Management System!
